Skanska Industrial Environment Energy (IME) is part of the industrial development taking place in Sweden. We carry out construction projects for industrial clients in the process industry, mining industry, and energy facilities. Our projects are often technically advanced and require high competence and collaboration. The projects vary in size and complexity and are located throughout the region from Dalarna to Norrbotten. We are now looking for more employees who want to help drive our exciting industrial projects forward!
Become a part of our journey in the industry
As a project engineer, you will have a central role in the project team where, with the support of the production manager and foreman, you ensure that the project progresses and stays on track towards set goals. Together with other employees, you create conditions with a focus on safety, high productivity, quality, and profitability. In this role, you will have many contacts with the project team, internal support functions, external clients and suppliers, as well as subcontractors and authorities.
Your responsibilities include:
- Working with financial management and monitoring contracts
- Following up on subcontractors and own work regarding time and cost
- Ensuring that the work follows the production budget
- Contributing to purchasing work and some scheduling
- Participating in quality work and document control

We are looking for someone who has:
- At least 5 years of experience in construction, civil engineering, or industrial projects
- Experience in finance, planning, and purchasing
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- A valid driver's license, as the projects are spread throughout the region, we prefer that you have some mobility.
Meritorious:
- University or college education in a relevant field
- Experience in production management, contract law, and cost estimation
- Experience in document control and quality work
- A background in industry
